Choosing an Automatic or Manual Configuration When Resetting Shadow PC

When you reset Shadow PC, Windows will be reinstalled for you. During this process, you can choose between Automatic or Manual configuration.

Automatic Configuration

The automatic option provides a preconfigured Windows setup. You'll only need to select your preferred language and keyboard layout—Shadow takes care of the rest.

Choose this option if you want a ready-to-use system without additional setup steps. If you'd like to adjust settings such as privacy options or Microsoft account preferences, you can do so after installation.

Manual Configuration

The manual option allows you to customize your Windows installation from the start. You can configure:

• Language and region
• Keyboard layout
• Microsoft sign-in preferences
• Privacy settings

Choose this option if you prefer to set up Windows according to your specific preferences.
